4.13-2003-Mother Nature has her wayAs you may have heard me lament prior, workspace is at a premium in our little foreign car garage. There's not much room at all to move around, and getting the motorcycles out requires moving the cars out of the garage. I'm at the point where the next step is to push the Alfa in to the garage and begin stripping it but I can't do that until the weather gets good enough so that Chela's Z3 can live outside without getting water logged. Convertibles, no matter how good they make them, they don't like living outside in rainy weather for days on end. That's exactly what we've had here lately. We got about 7 inches of rain in a three day period, which is rather a lot. The weather man says that Spring is truly on its way soon, and that by next weekend sunshine will be here. Hopefully that will signal the beginning of the time when we can get to serious disassembly of the Alfa. I did take some time during the rainy Saturday to fix some problems on the Norton which had been keeping her from road service. British motorcycles are constantly shaking themselves to pieces, so you're always repairing broken, loosened or missing fasteners. It's the British way of ensuring you always "pre-flight" your machine before you ride it. See you all next week! Ciao! TJ
